The Broward MPO will hold public meetings and consider approval of an amendment to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include the I-75 Managed Lanes project.  The TIP is a federally mandated document that lists transportation projects and programs to be funded by federal, state and local governments and transportation agencies over a five year period in the Broward area.

Public meetings prior to the Broward MPO Board’s consideration of the TIP amendment will be held during the following regularly scheduled meetings, providing the public with three opportunities to make verbal comments:

• Technical Coordinating Committee on Monday, November 26, 2012, at 2:15 p.m.
• Community Involvement Roundtable on Tuesday, November 27, 2012, at 6:00 p.m.
• Broward MPO Board on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at 9:30 a.m. (Final Action Taken)

All meetings will be held in the Broward MPO Board Room, located in the Trade Centre South Building, 100 West Cypress Creek Road, Suite 850, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309.

The purpose of the meetings is to hear public comments and consider actions to amend the FY 2012/2013 - 2016/2017 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include the I-75 Managed Lanes project with a total budget of $400,424,130.00 for FY 2013.

The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed TIP amendment. The TIP amendment will be available for viewing at least 30 days prior to the December 13, 2012 Broward MPO Board meeting.
