The Broward MPO approved the award of six Transportation Enhancement projects totaling $3,972,785. The following projects were awarded Transportation Enhancement funds:
- $1,000,000 for theCity of Oakland Park - NW 38th Street/Park Lane, bike lane/sidewalk project.
- $999,360 for the City of Fort Lauderdale - NW Neighborhood Enhancement Project, Phase III, sidewalk project.
- $544,001 for the City of Coral Springs - NW 29th Street and Coral Hills Drive, sidewalk project.
- $534,861 for the City of Pompano Beach - SW 36th Avenue, sidewalk project.
- $595,283 for the City of Lauderhill - NW 35th Avenue, landscaping project.
- $299,280 for the City of Hallandale Beach - NW/SW 8th Avenue, lighting project.
Funds for these projects will be programmed in the 2013 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) and available for construction in FY 2014-15.
