NOTICE OF THREE (3) PUBLIC HEARINGS in November/December For Two Proposed Amendments to the 2035 LRTP
- Technical Coordinating Committee on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:30 p.m.
- Community Involvement Roundtable on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 6:00 p.m.
- Broward MPO Board on Thursday, December 12, 2013, 9:30 a.m.
All meetings will be held in the Broward MPO Board Room, located in the Trade Centre South Building, 100 West Cypress Creek Road, Suite 850, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 to consider action on the following items:
Amending the 2035 Long Range Transportation Plan for the following projects:
A. Allocate two million dollars for Florida East Coast railroad crossing infrastructure improvements for Quiet Zones in Broward County.
B. Advance to Fiscal Year 2014-15 the funding and construction of the Andrews Avenue widening from Atlantic Boulevard to Pompano Parkway/SW 3rd Street
The public is invited to review and comment on the proposed amendment. The amendment is available prior to its final adoption on December 12, 2013 at the Broward MPO office located at the address above; and is posted on the Broward MPO website at:
