As part of the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization's commitment to creating safer, healthier streets, we celebrated at the groundbreaking of the first project in over $100 million in bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation improvements programmed for construction throughout Broward County in the next five years!
The Groundbreaking Ceremony took place this morning at the SW Corner of Sheridan Street and North 67th Avenue in Hollywood.
Speakers included: Greg Stuart - Executive Director, Broward MPO; Commissioner Richard S. Blattner - City of Hollywood; Gerry O'Reilly - Director of Transportation Development, Florida Department of Transportation; and Michael De Lucca - President & CEO, Broward Regional Health Planning Council.
